What is Operation Outreach?
Operation Outreach is an awareness campaign for combat veterans who served our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. Veterans who sustained Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) are at increased risk of developing Post Traumatic Epilepsy (PTE). Many veterans who develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are at rick of developing Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES).  The Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana believes this is a public health issue and developed Operation Outreach to respond.  Operation Outreach has a four-pronged battle mission to educate, advocate, assist, and provide supportive counsel to the Veterans continuing to return home from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families.  


Operation Outreach is proud to be the signature veterans program of the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana.
